  9. *   Warp Version 4 or later. DO NOT USE it with Warp 3 or  *
  10. *   earlier versions of OS/2. The code contained here has  *
  11. *   a fix for a specific problem in Warp 4 that does not   *
  12. *   exist in earlier versions of OS/2. The fix has not     *
  13. *   been tested with these earlier versions and may cause  *

  29. PURPOSE OF FIX
  30.  
  31. This fix corrects a specific problem that some users may
  32. encounter using FontFolder with Warp 4. Warp 4 has changed
  33. the underlying font handling in OS/2 so that OFM files are
  34. no longer created when fonts are installed (unless one uses
  35. the OS/2 Font Palette to do the font installation).  As a
  36. result, a font installed after installing Warp 4 may not
  37. have an OFM file.  When uninstalling such a font, FontFolder
  38. will fail with the message

  45. If you see this message, you need to install this fix.  See
  46. the installation instructions below

  49. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  50.  
  51. You must already have FontFolder Version 2.1A to use this
  52. fix.  Do not install this fix over any other version of
  53. FontFolder.  If you need this fix to run FontFolder with
  54. Warp Version 4, you must first upgrade to FontFolder 2.1A
  55. (Regular or Lite) before installing this fix.
  56.  
  57. Step 1: Make a backup copy of the present FONTFOLD.EXE.  To
  58.         make sure that your FontFolder program objects point
  59.         to the correct version of FontFolder after this
  60.         installation is correct, it is recommended that you
  61.         COPY rather than MOVE this file to a backup
  62.         location.

  64. Step 2: Copy the new version of FONTFOLD.EXE to your
  65.         FontFolder directory, choosing to "replace" the
  66.         existing version if that message appears.
  67.  
  68. Step 3: Check your FontFolder program objects to make sure
  69.         that they point to the new version of FONTFOLD.EXE
  70.         rather than the old version.
